Meet your future wedding planning extraordinaire! 

My name is Jessica Wix. I have always taken it upon myself to plan and host any event I could get my hands on within my family and friends. The decorating, planning and the outcome of having everyone together for any sort of event is something I have craved in my day-to-day life. Fast forward to when I got engaged to the love of my life in August of 2019, we planned the wedding of our dreams for April of 2020. 

Then, of course, we found ourselves attempting to declare our love in the midst of a pandemic. As a former COVID bride, everything that could have gone wrong with my "perfect day," absolutely did! After two reschedules and meeting my wedding day face to face, I was merely dissatisfied with the aftermath. I truly felt like I did not get to "love" my day. Don't get me wrong - of course, I was so excited to have embarked on this journey with the love of my life. However, I was absolutely drained from the ups and downs of the planning process.  In fact, I had become so overwhelmed, that I forgot to enjoy the parts of my wedding that I had dreamed of since I was a little girl. 

How could this have happened? I was devastated that I spent so much time worrying about the details, that I hardly stopped to smell the roses. After experiencing these emotions, I began helping close friends plan their perfect days; holding their hand through the process and making sure their day went smoothly.  I thought to myself, "If I can help my friends live in the moment on their most special day, this is what I am meant to do."

Then blossomed "Wix Wedding & Events"!  I completely fell in love with the planning and logistics of making a bride’s dreams come true. Hearing my brides say their day was flawless with me by their side has given me so much drive to pursue my dreams. Thank you to all of our past brides and brides-to-be.
